The STC Group is accepting refundable deposits for the Piper Comanche single and twin engine models and Grumman AA5 aircraft.

Before ordering please provide your aircraft year, make, model, serial number, and N number.

It will help us expedite your order if you can verify that your aircraft was previously equipped with a factory installed Navomatic autopilot.

If your Cessna 182 was equipped with a Cessna factory installed Navomatic autopilot it will have the access panel installed at Wing Station 103.5 as shown in the Cessna 182 Installation Instructions, Figure 2-1

Cessna 182E and Later – No Factory Navomatic Autopilot

These Cessna 182 models did not ship from the factory with a Cessna Navomatic Autopilot. The STC Group LLC has recently discovered an aircraft that did not ship with a factory installed autopilot yet the right wing was provisioned with the roll servo mounting rib at W.S. 108.00. Please check your aircraft for a large rectangular inspection panel located between W.S 100.5 and 108.00 on the right (starboard) wing before ordering this kit. You may require Kit #1. Call first for guidance.

Trio Pro Pilot

The Trio Pro Pilot Autopilot has been approved by the FAA for installation in certified aircraft. The Trio Pro Pilot Autopilot Kits include autopilot, servos, harness, circuit breaker, power switch, and override switch. An Installation kit for your specific aircraft will be required in addition to the Autopilot Kit.

This equipment must be installed by FAA licensed personnel in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation regulations. FAA form 337 and STC documentation set included with the kit(s) must be filed with the FAA. An aircraft logbook entry must be recorded per 14 CFR Part 91, sections 91.405 & 91.417. See Trio Avionics & The STC Group websites for privacy, repair, and return policies. The deposits above are deposits on a final price of $5,000 for the listed equipment and associated paperwork, plus sales tax for California and Michigan residents. Deposits will be fully refundable in the event the FAA fails to issue the STC on the Trio ProPilot before October 31, 2017.
